General Missions and Service

The General Missions and Service area effectively includes all other forms of outreach not listed in the other focus areas!

Among the potential outreach opportunities in the General Missions and Service might be:

• working with local churches (litter-picking, building renovation and decoration, cleaning, etc);
• serving the Olympic authorities (eg, operating as translators within the Border Agency, the Police and at BAA airports);
• participating in sports clinics and holiday clubs;
• trading Olympic and Paralympic pins (badges);
• taking part in community festivals.
