Just Go 2012 outreaches - 22 July-5 August

Short-term summer missions for young people, youth groups and whole families! Run in partnership between Soul Survivor and Youth With A Mission England, in 2012 Just Go will be running outreaches in each of the Olympic host cities, alongside Week 1 of the main Olympic outreach.

Youth and Children

The majority of Christians come to know Jesus before the age of 18. Not only are they the most responsive to the gospel, but young people and children are also the most vulnerable and the most passionate! When we reach out and love young people and children, we can change not only their lives, but the lives of others around them. It is crucial for us to reach out to the next generations, to love them and inspire them in a way the world around them does not.

Partnering ministries

We are working with and form part of the youth and children’s division of More Than Gold. We are also working with Scripture Union, HOPE Youth, YFC, Soul Survivor, Urban Saints, 4/14 Window and Global Children's Prayer Network, to varying degrees, among others.We are also working closely with King's Kids England (www.kkiengland.com), YWAM England's ministry to children, youth, and families.

As we work together with these organisations our heart is to serve local churches, disciple the youth and children in their communities, and give them an opportunity to experience the power of God and Jesus Christ in new, faith-building ways.

The Youth and Children's expression of Forever has several areas of focus:

engaging in youth and children's projects with local church at a ‘grass roots’ level;
resourcing and empowering churches to reach the youth and children in their communities;
partnering with churches for outreach during the Olympic Games;
networking with other youth and children's ministries and organisations;
releasing Christian youth and children into mission on short-term teams and within their local communities.

Current projects that we are working on include:

a resource called Sweaty Church - for active families who don't find the traditional model of Sunday morning church accessible;
and a free workshop/seminar for churches called ‘Think Strategically’ focusing on mission with youth and children (see below).

The heart behind all of the above is a deep love of Jesus Christ, and a passion to make Him known among youth and children in the UK.

Missions Workshop Seminar

A FREE seminar for those involved in Youth and Children’s Ministry.
Come and explore the challenges and opportunities facing those of us in youth and children’s ministry. This workshop is totally free.

Equipping you to reflect on the communities you’re part of, we aim to give you tools and ideas to be strategic in your mission with youth and children.

All you need to do is invite us along to run the Missions Workshop in your area - for free! All we ask is that you recruit at least five people from your church or local area, and make a contribution towards travel. For bookings or more information email us on info@forever2012.com
