Olympic-focused YWAM schools

One way you can join in the 2012 Olympic Games outreach is by doing a YWAM school that either has an Olympic focus or that is planning to include the Olympics in its outreach phase.

YWAM schools split into two groups: Discipleship Training Schools (DTSs) and Second-level schools.

DTSs

DTSs are the foundational YWAM course. The DTS implements YWAM's motto to "Know God and make Him known", and is a pre-requisite for working full-time with YWAM. They last for a minimum of 24 weeks, and include a 12-week lecture phase followed by a minimum 12-week outreach phase.

Doing a DTS which plans to attend the Olympic outreach is a fantastic way to receive intense and indepth discipleship training before launching out into outreach at the greatest show on earth!

Second-level schools

After you have completed a DTS, you can continue to study with YWAM through our second-level schools. These schools cover a myriad of topics and subjects.
