YWAM worker selected to carry Olympic Torch

A full-time worker with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) has been selected to carry the Olympic Torch during the 70-day Torch Relay in the run-up to the 2012 Olympic Games. James Swabey, currently serving with the Sports Team at YWAM Harpenden, England, will carry the Torch for 300 metres in Eastbourne on 17 July.

Forever launches its second London team plant

Forever, the ministry coordinating Youth With A Mission’s outreach at the 2012 Olympics, has established its second new team in London. The team is based in Crouch End, north London, and combines two of Forever’s focus areas – Children and Youth and Sports.
